Come and hear about the Turku Tramway!
We have published preliminary street plans for the entire 12 km of the tramway route from the ferry terminal via the city centre and Kupittaa to Varissuo. You can also comment on the plans in the map-based survey until 28 September. The plans can be found on the Preliminary street plans page of the Turku Tramway website.
We will be presenting the plans this September at events held across the city. You are welcome to come and hear the presentations and ask questions about the plans and the tramway project in general! Our events are open to everyone and do not require advance registration. The events are held in Finnish, but you can ask questions in English.

Come and hear about the Turku Tramway project at Varissuon liikekeskus on Thursday, 11 September between 17.00 and 19.00!
Experts from the Tramway Alliance will answer questions about the tramway and discuss the preliminary street plans for the areas of Itäharju, Pääskyvuori and Varissuo.

Come and get to know the Turku tramway on Turku Day, September 21, on Yliopistonkatu, near the entrance to Hansa! You can come anytime between 10 am and 4 pm.
You will have the opportunity to meet experts from the Turku Tramway Alliance, who will talk about the tramway plans and answer your questions. Also coffee, balloons, and temporary tattoos will be available.
An information session on the preliminary street plans for the tramway will be held on Monday 22 September from 6 to 7.30 p.m. as a Facebook Live stream and via Microsoft Teams. There will be plenty of time for questions during the session.
